(more info on confrontation in therapy)
I confront my therapist all the time. some of our most enjoyable, deep, thought provoking, work on my own issues come during times when I confront my therapist on things she has said or don during our therapy sessions. I was raised in a home where you do as your told, talk only when spoken to, and mind your elders. When I entered therapy boy was I in for a shock when my therapist told me I didnt have to follow all those rules, she told me the only way therapy works is with total participation and total honesty even if its me telling her she's wrong. so I grew up being used to confronting my therapist.
