It is hard there are peopel who will say what are you depressed about in that one tone were its like. (yea i heard this before and its not a major issue your get over it attitude) There is more behide it. When a person is depressed they feel different from what they normally feel. which i bet is the lost of interested and feeling shallowed out. I had those stages. my dad thought the same way as your mom. There are many difference between fads of in school and conditions. Depression even if its mild alters the way you live. just know you are never alone with the condition and in life. Having it mild is a blessing , well not having it at all is even more. Its kinda like this when your depressed your sitiuation increase more then usal. example if you and your better half got in a fight. and he said some words and you did. then at the end you think he might break up with you that emotion right there will be a little worse then having it at all. to deal with emotions like this you have to take it slowly. think of the positives in your life. think that everything has a propess. if you think and know of the sitiuation before getting up set it and thinking positive you will most likely calm down. if you have a hobbie , use it. if you have a favitore song, use it. even if its sad something to calm you. never let anyone bring you down in this depression. some people might push ur buttons and make you upset. but i can tell you have minor depression because one you are surprised by it and two your mom is thinking its just teenage drama. which means she has never seen you upset or that its something with her that she has experienced. and in my sessions of therpy you might here someone say its up to u if you make the matter worse. and it is. just think differently like i siad before. its hard though. and takes prectise. being a teenage sucks. because this is were most of the probles start. you get a pill . and watch out for the pills they might be more trouble then you think. now dont let that scare you. because they help but you have to do the thing i told you with easing though that one problem with music, poems, walking, excises( excises make you feel better its chemical thing i can explain it but it takes a while. ) singing, being goofy, jokes, theres all sorts of things. and one more thing. never try cutting or harming your self. it is very addictive and it is worth much more harm then it heals at the time. it is very very addictive and people get mad then it leeds to hospitals. but you have minor depress. so you can get through this. you are very important in the world. this is a big step and you can and will get threw this. i believe in you. and just from that little post i know your make it. life is hard. just dont make it harder. if you have any suicide thoughts or anything like that. come back and visit us . just remember this life is hell but the moments and goals you set can make it heaven. all you need is a little push now and then. good luck! have a great day!
