There is usually another woman with me in my dreams. I don't know who she is, but it's the same woman every time. Jung says that this is the part of me that isn't acknowledged or expressed. She often tries to help me. Jung suggests you listen up when this "shadow person" speaks.
This is interesting. My therapist is influenced by Jung and does dream work with me. At first I had a hard time getting into it but by doing it more and writing down my dreams I find more and more worth in them.

I have a man in my dreams that always appears. My negative animus I think Jung would call him. He usually is mad at me in the dreams, or mad at the woman/shadow person who is representing me. Wanting me to wake up and take action in my own life or trying hard to get a point across.

Sometimes after I wake up I just laugh at how obvious he is. Or rather how obvious my unconscious is. I find the more I work with dreams they are easier to understand.

Just happy to see someone else mention Jung. He doesn't really get tossed around where I am and people tend to look down at me if I dare to mention the idea of dreams being able to tell you something.
