I recently started two threads about the same time. One got a lot of responses that are still coming in, and the other got none at all. The one that had none was the one I thought people would more likely respond to than the other one. It was about books vs. movie/TV series versions. My thread on Animal Expressions is still getting responses. Very disappointed with the thread on books, but I'm glad this doesn't just happen to me. Even though I don't want it to happen to anyone at ALL.

I do look for threads with little or no responses too. But I think this is the nature of message boards and the short attention spans people have when there's so many topics to view.......(Everywhere, not just PC) And I've noticed once something drops off the first page (which doesn't take long here, LOL), it gets no replies anymore, if it got any at all. Unless someone is searching for certain topics in a certain time frame, they seem to post randomly via browsing the topics. People don't seem to browse past the first two pages......

I posted in a thread that had NO replies, but a LOT OF VIEWS. After I posted my reply, it seemed to open the floodgates. Responses poured in, and they are still pouring in.
