I too felt this way about my 'inner child' and I think your T is pretty awesome for helping you figure that out. I have learned to embrace my 'inner child' and love her. Because of that I am moving forward as a 'new complete person'. I'm not leaving her behind but giving her a chance to live like she was meant to.
