I would like those in Canada to weigh in on this as they have National Health Care. I meet many ppl who come to the medical buildings I visit, when they are on vacation or visiting family, for "emergency" health care as they have to wait months in Canada. I've heard the story over and over. IDK.

I don't think it's the idea of socialism that keeps it out of the USA...but that we don't have that kind of control, as it's a democracy... and nothing happens the way we vote it in ! LOL We really have many socialistic programs...
