Hi, I've been reading up on insulin levels as well with regards to losing weight and apparently people with high levels can lose weight healthily if they follow a certain way of eating. Not a restrictive diet but just a certain way of limiting certain carbs etc. Could you maybe talk to a dietitian about it? The books I've read on it have suggested a diet like the Low G.I. Diet really works for insulin levels. There is also one called The PCOS Diet book which is a syndrome that has high insulin levels as a symptom. I haven't tried any of these yet but it could be worth a shot.
