Went to check on a friend and got him to agree to go to the hospital, which was needed.
Called my prospective employer to say I was diverted from paperwork, but would get to it.
Called my friend's family about him, so it is not all on me to be concerned.
Stayed with friend until he stabilized.
Came home to attend to my own responsibilities.
