From the sound of it... It sounds to me like you could possibly be seeking a mother figure. I may be way off but was your mom around when you were younger? Was there a moment where you felt like you needed her but she wasn't there? Do you feel like maybe she just isn't quite the mom you need to help you feel safe and secure? If that does ring a bell with you then the dream is probably just expressing your desire to have that female figure in your life.

The fact that you come close to death or something terrible and then are rescued by a female role model seems like you may feel a void where your mother comes in to play regarding your safety and you basically feel the need to be rescued by these respectable women.

Pretty much it seems to me that you may be feeling like you need or want the motherly love you see on movies, the safety... The happiness... The love and care and constant support (them visiting you at the hospital shows that)... The safety and all of the things that come along with what those mothers do.
