T and I had a long, candid (on both sides), unemotional (well a little more so on her side) discussion about ethics, about the relative importances of therapeutic relationship & specific training, about trust & the feasibility of starting over, about age - hers and mine - lots of facets.
Bottom line, we are OK & can continue. If at some future point things are not working, we will both know it.

When I left, I didn't dare ask, but she said, Oh before I open this door I need to give you a hug - and she did.
