Hello Jeanne! Wow you sound like me. My ex broke up with me (her doing) and we were on again/off again and it just toyed with me. We haven't been together for months and now we both have new partners. I don't think you can get any good 'advice.' You have to make the decision yourself. Do what your heart says. If you don't think this is a person you can be with your whole life and you just are drawn to him because you want someone, then I guess steer clear. But if you do love him and are willing to forgive him, go for it. Just go slow. I am also 27. Sometimes I think I have to get married immediately but we both need to go slow and enjoy being young.

If I were you (which I am not) I'd talk to him again...go real slow...maybe friends first...and make sure to really focus on yourself...don't feel like you can only be happy when you are happy as a couple.
