Best argument I ever got into with a Dr. was over whether or not I'd ever been an IV drug abuser. I had to get IV antibiotics due to a badly infected cut, but it said on my paper work that I was an alcoholic. So she started grilling me on what other drugs I'd used. I said none, I'm just an alcoholic. She then told me that she couldn't put the shunt in if I'd ever abused IV drugs. I told her again that I hadn't that I was just an alcoholic. We had a 15 min. "animated discussion" with me trying to convince her that I was just an alcoholic, and that it was safe to put an IV shunt in my arm. It was actually quite funny.
