Another thought. Has anyone tried a weighted blanket or sometimes called a sensory blanket? My p/doc who specializes in sexual trauma introduced me to them. They use them in some hospitals to help sooth people having a hard time with memories or PTSD symptoms or many different things. I have one now and many times after a session when I want to curl up in a ball and cry, I curl up in my weighted blanket and I feel like I am being held and hug and cared for.I still may cry some, but I feel comforted at the same time. I don't have a husband or partner to offer me that type of support so this was amazing to me that a blanket could help me. Would a warm human being be better? yes, but when that's not in the picture this has been very helpful.
Thanks for this!
