I had a similiar situation, but when my family found out about me it was different. Because they care more about you they will view it different. You definately need some help though..going on 25 years of having mine and my body is very messed up b/c of it. Wont be easy but take a deep breath and let them know. I thought I would die if people knew about mine, but once people at work found out that I was in the hospittal (again) they all are very supportive
