So I finally asked my pdoc why I have gone through a whole bunch of psych meds and nothing has seemed to work for me for more then 3-4 months at a time once we get to a suitable dosage of medicine. Her answer was that me liver metabolized the medication faster then most people. She said the dosages she has me on are for a typical 6'3" 230 lbs male instead of the 5'4" 165 lbs female that I am. I mean when I took Seroquel I was on 800 mg with it just barley helping me and most people have effective dosages around 200-300 mg. I was wondering if anyone else has the same problem as me, going through meds super fast?
