Hi all hope your all doing well today, for those who have read any of my posts you will know that I have previous diagnosis of clinical and more recently the possibilty of bipolar.
I've been to see the PDoc today withe the mood diary showing my mood changes, irritability, anxiousness and hallucinations, and each day I wrote a comment such as I'm really anxious today or I'm suicidal.
So he was writing stuff down and asked about my hallucinations and asked me if they were in my head or if they were coming through my ears,I said in my head, so does that mean they are not auditory hallucinations?
So now my preliminary diagnosis is generalized anxiety disorder, which to me sounds less severe than the way I feel,if that makes sense?
I have all the symptoms of bipolar but due to the anxiety being prominent this is me for now,I've been perscribed quetiapine, starting at 25mg going up to 150mg.
I know for a fact that this medication is used for schizophrenia and bipolar so now I'm relly confused, any advice for me anybody please?
Thanks
JK
