how about HUD /section 8 programs sometimes they give out vouchers and lists of low income housing and you can be placed on their list for their program. The waiting list for being on ther Seciot 8 programs are long but well worth it. My rent for this 2 bedroom place is $540.00. my part of it is $89.00 and secion 8 program pays the rest ($451.00) the fact that you are on SSI makes you automatically eligable for HUD/Section 8 services nationwide (in the USA)
