Oddly, Strattera can be either activating or sedating. It depends on the person. Also, the sedating effect can improve with time. So if she just started on Strattera, I would advise waiting for that to subside, at least several weeks. And keep in touch with the prescribing doctor and let him/her know what side effects your daughter is experiencing. Sometimes the dose can be adjusted, but again, it may be best to wait a while because the body often adjusts and side effects subside. Good luck.
