Memory loss is definitely a problem for me. I generally have to write down things unless they're present and immediate, because otherwise I won't remember at all. Combine that with the inability to concentrate on something and it's really frustrating.
And yet I still have a near-eidetic recall for anything involving navigation, or specific parts of my classical musician's training. Go figure.
