Maybe you could talk about it. Would it help to hear from him that other people have perceived him the same way, maybe other patients get the same vibe from him? Maybe if you have a sense that it's not just you all alone being afraid, it might help... it could validate your feelings? I don't think I'd be very comfortable opening up about it, either, but it would be hard to stay in therapy with that scary feeling.
