Sorry to hear that news bp. BUT I think it is a very positive thing that she spoke to you personally, and gave you hints on how to interview better in the future! That means, to me, that you have great potential. If you did really poorly, she wouldn't have given you the time of day.

I'm thinking just some overachiever blew their socks off! Stay positive, it's possible that THAT person might be totally bored with that job very shortly, and if you stay in touch, you might still get that job.
