I'd also be careful telling them why. It's up to you. You can say you were hospitalized with a chronic illness, or hospitalized but don't want to talk about it. But give them something so they don't attack you. Also I'd look into laws and such... see why your position was removed. Its seems wrong that they can do that, if it is based on you being mentally (or otherwise) ill... I don't know much about laws though. Watch your back, but there might be something you can do
