I was talking with one of my friends about a story on here and I said something along the lines of, "I should make this a post" and she said I probably should too. So, the story is about an a prince, a princess, a king, and an ox. We had to make a list of who was the most guilty. It's kind of like a picture assessment test with a story already made up. She put the king first (most guilty) and I put him last (least guilty). It left us with an awkward moment since it turns out we have two different view points. I find it kind of funny in a way. I want to know who you would put as the most guilty and who would put as the least guilty. Here's the story:

"Prince Wilhelm is passionately in love with Celestine. But she does not love him. One day, Wilhelm comes to the King and asks for Celestine's hand in marriage. Celestine begs the king not to marry her to Wilhelm, but the king ignores her pleas. Royal protocol means he must say yes to the match. They are married and Wilhelm takes Celestine back with him to his kingdom. That night, he attempts to consummate the marriage, but the distraught Celestine flees. She runs from the safety of the castle and across a field, ignoring the sign which warns of danger. In that field is a bull, who, seeing the girl, charges her. She falls under his hooves and is killed instantly."

In order from from most to least, who do you think is the most guilty of Celestine's death and why.

I put Prince Wilhelm as the most guilty since he initiated the the problem by asking for the marriage while Celestine didn't want it and he also, to put it lightly, tried to make it their "special night". Then I put the ox for second place since it actually did the killing. Next, I put Celestine for not being careful. I feel she died by her own hands. Last, I put the king. I empathize with him. How was he supposed to know all this would happen? Granted, he ignored his daughter due to royalties so he has guilt. No one in this story got away scot free.
