I would have to say, the compassion, if authentic(no pretense,but from the heart)is from your god-like quality(holy spirit) within, and evil was that feeling of restriction, the somehat self-centered thoughts. They say the spirit is housed in the heart, the mind is vernerable to evil ;fire dart of the evil one,(thoughts). Hence, we need the helmet of salvation. BB
