What is the difference between having an impact now, and having an impact some number years into the future? If you were to have an impact now, it seems to me that the effect of that impact would be multiplied and carried through to the future in countless ways; whereas if you were to be able to somehow "save" your impact and not let it happen until the year 10,000, then it probably would have less impact, like compounding interest on money. Plus, as you say, it would be a different time, and your offering would be out of sync with the times and perhaps useless. But it seems your impacts now are priceless. Hmm. I find your question quite inspiring.
