Not sure if it is for the "better" or for the "worse" but to be honest I don't really care.....Seems that "not minding doing things" has changed to "I don't want to do it anymore".

Guess since this last "plight" around here I've decided I don't want to "play" anymore. DO your own dishes or buy paper plates.. When you cook, clean up after yourself, don't leave it for me to clean. AJ's g/f brought down an overflowing dishpan load of dirty dishes with bits of trash mixed in and dropped it on the countertop. I picked it up and put it on the patio and told AJ"s g/f the dishes are on the patio when she is ready to do them.. SHe said she wasn't doing them tonight and I said that is ok.. Then she said when her sister comes over she will do them. I shrugged my shoulders...

AJ's g/f has been bringing little gifts of candles and two small lamps for the kitchen. When we had this last "problem" she threw it all up in my face saying all the things she does for me .. yadayadayada... I don't like things thrown in my face what one has "in their eyes" done for me or "given me".. It is very nice of her to have given me candles and the two lamps, but that doesn't mean I am obligated to her for anything.. I told her to not buy anything for me.. Guess she didn't hear me.. SO I asked AJ to tell her not to "buy or give" me anything because I will refuse anything she tries to give me........I can not be bought.. I told her that many times......Heck I can buy her a candle and she can do my dishes!

ANYway... Change is good, I think. I feel good about it.....I'm the type of person that when I do something for someone I don't like throw it in their face. I once paid a friend's electric bill because they were getting cut off notices.. SO I paid the bill and never told them I paid it... I didn't have an "abundance" of money at that time. I did it because I cared. Not because I wanted "rewards" or "praise" or whatever for doing it.. SHe and her hubby never knew it was me that paid the electric bill...Just how I am... whatever that means,
