Sorrel, I can relate a lot. I'm not much younger than you and only had one short(ish) relationship. Due to big issues at home when I grew up, I have avoided intimate relationships throughout my twenties and mainly my thirties although on a certain level I've longed for them. It's very tricky. I'm aware of the issues, like you, and feel I might be more ready now than in the past, but it's been a long struggle.
