I guess it must work differently for everyone. I'm trying not to expect big changes or break throughs now and just appreciate whatever little helpful comments I hear. I think that's good your therapist wants to talk about present and past with you.

It took a very long time to ever have a breakthrough. I didn't think I would ever let my guard down enough for that to happen. I asked her if she ever thought I would do that. She said, "You were pretty resistant but I was hoping!"
