It's very interesting. Seems like finding your totem is a challenge. Is the totem meant to be similar to you or is it meant to represent the qualities you need to strive for or develop?

The site asks what animals have fascinated you, especially since childhood. That's easy - dogs and elephants. Then it suggests looking around to see what animals you have in pictures or figurines. I'm in my office right now. I knew I had lots of dog pictures around, but I was surprised to realize I have 3 elephants in my office! I also have a parrot, a polar bear, a cow, a bird, some cats, a lady bug, and several teddy bears. Can a teddy bear be totem?

Obviously this will take a bit of work. As usual I hate to commit myself to just one. Is there a totem for people who like to keep their options open?
