If you are looking for a med for ADHD that is not a stimulant, another option is bupropion. I took that for ADHD and just stopped it a couple of months ago. My PNP thought I didn't need bupropion plus a stimulant (Vyvanse) and I had been taking both for quite a while. She thought the Vyvanse would be enough. I am thinking of going back to her and starting the bupropion again. I think it was helping me a lot more than we thought. That was a surprise to me, as while taking it, I wasn't really conscious of its effects. I remember getting an improvement when I began taking it, but I had forgotten that, because I became used to being more functional, I think.
Anyway, that might be another option if Strattera doesn't help. Good luck.
