Doctor says it's normal but  this is not enough energy to get through school let alone have energy to hang out with people after  I was tired just 3 hours after waking up, and only survived on coffee for another few hours =/ then I had to muddle through the rest of the day. ho hum.
Wish I knew why...

I went through the same thing about 6 years ago and found out it was fibromyalgia - even though I had been taking meds for lupus for 5 years..I think they are both in the same "family" of auto immune disorders but it is very hard to detect this kind of disorder. The exhaustion was so severe I could not even explain it to anyone. It's like I had run a marathon when I woke up each morning. I now take Cymbalta which helps with depression and the pain that also comes with this disorder. It helps but I have to say, I am still very tired most of the time.
