Hi Nikki57, Well I am switching to prozac soooo.....we will see how I do. and with my weight gain Dr. ck'd my chart I have really only gained 3 lbs since August sure feels like more! ha! He said I won't feel as tired on the prozac like I was on the paxil either so that is a plus for me. He also gave me xanax just for one more month for my bad anxiety days. and he also said for me to just switch meds as they are in the same family. I ask about detox from paxil and he said it is not bad as long as you taper off slowly. Hope this helps. And remember everyone's body is different. Let me know what you decide. you can pm me anytime.
