I've been put on mirtazapine (remeron?) for depression/sleep problems. Took for the first time on Weds night.

Yesterday was like swimming in treacle. I struggled to keep my eyes open, even in the shower, my legs were heavy, typing felt like a mammoth effort, etc.

Today I am highly anxious. I've got the shakes, I'm feeling panicked and everything is just racing too fast for me. It's really, really unpleasant.

Can anyone with experience of this drug tell me if this is normal, or how long it should last? I feel like I'm going crazy inside
