There is a book "The Flylady" by Marla Cilley (from 2002) that someone suggested to me to help me get started. I've felt overwhelmed and underappreciated by others who live in the house, and felt like I can't have anyone over because my living room is such a mess..... it has helped me to feel better about what I did do. In the beginning of the book she talks about learning to love yourself. (FLY=finally loving yourself)

It is just a guide or tool, but I went to the used book store, got it and I've started. I'm only done with the first chapter. but it is working to keep me moving.

What I'd like to do here at PC is have our own "little club" where we follow along with the book. It isn't rule #1 is to do this and rule #2 is to do that sort of book, but she does have homework assignments! It gives structure in doing little 10 minutes tasks. It is meant as a just jump in and do the first thing so you have a sense of getting something done. If there is something she suggests that doesn't apply to you, do something else.

By using the book as a guide, we will have structure rather than feeling overwhelmed by the amount of work to do to clean our space! Marla Cilley also has a website, but I don't want to join that, I want to do it on PC with you all!

If interested let me know and we will be here to encourage each other over specific issues.
I'm interested!I need all the help I can get, those ten minute tasks sound ideal for me as I've fibromyalgia too.
Many thanks
JK
