Hi Nikki57,
I think anything that makes you feel this way is a reason to keep seeking new answers in medications and in therapy. Having lived with severe anxiety, I know how debilitating it is. My own response would be, keep looking for answers! It sounds like these issues are really interfering with your life and your ability to find connection and basic pleasure from it.
But as for what "normal" is? Who knows - humans are very complicated, life is complicated. For someone who has to a use prosthetic leg or arm, is it "normal"? It just is what it is. It is what helps this person with their quality of life. Medications and therapy do the same, they help us to get back to that point where we feel connected to life. Keep searching... You deserve to feel relatively at ease instead of held back by anxiety or depression. Sending many supportive thoughts your way.
