Those folks don't "practice an economy of speech". My observation of you, dear Happycheeks, is that you are an individual with a great heart and rich emotions. Nevertheless, it is your style to use few words to express yourself. Each of your few words is full of meaning. That's "economical".

Perhaps some have mistaken the fewness of your words for being boring. Unfortunately, they are hearing your few words but not pausing to consider how much is behind those words.
