No. I also think (although I am not giving you legal advice) that you are protected by client confidentiality that he cannot report it. And I would also point out that many battered women have gone to therapy, and if therapists had to report abuse to the authorities, they'd be flooded with calls. However, I'm a little concerned that you may not be taking this incident as seriously as you could, and feel it is important for you to consider taking steps to protect yourself. You could file for a domestic violence civil protection order, the process is described here:

A protection order is not the same as a criminal case, and it does not hurt "his record" in any way (unless he violates the order, but that is of course under his control).
