I'm sorry you are having a rough time.
Dealing with triggers - some of mine, hope they might help you.
Remind yourself ' here and now ' you are safe.
It is over and it happened a long time ago.
You are an adult, ( the child-part needs reassurance and compassion.)
Use distractions to keep you in the 'here and now' , things that you enjoy doing that don't remind you of the past.
Learn what your triggers are.
Safe -place visualization, needs to be a 'here and now' safe-place, not a past one.
Takes a lot of practice.
Hopefully the 'triggers' eventually won't trigger so much.
