I feel like I could handle a master's degree not being Freudian, because I get to do field experience...I feel like I could do what I do fine, they can't discriminate me just because I'm using psychoanalytic tech, not that they would recognize it...anyway, just for the experience really-anxiety over going straight to a doctorate. Also, if I go for my master's at this private school, I won't have to take the GRE right away like I would for the doctorate....what does finding X have to do with how one feels?! I just have to know. lol.
I have not had math besides sadisitics in over 3 years.
and have you considered an MCSW?
Well, the only degree psychoanalysis is taught in is the doctorate. Or post. What is that? Looked it up can't find the abbrevation...however if it is a masters degree, then it won't work...
As an example, Jeffrey Seinfeld I would put up there with ANYONE, any degree. Find a place YOU FIT, that fits you, that you don't have to fight - really they do exist. Try to work this out BEFORE you make a big commitment?

The only place I fit in lies within the walls of two different private schools, or I have to suffer every last step of the way through cog/behavioral's ********. (which honestly I will end up being ecclectic, using it as necessary...but still I freakin hate the majority of it. )
@Byz....Freud would probabley want to delve into why I hate cog/behavioral so much. I would say I hate the 'cured in 6 weeks' ****, I hate how it fails to listen-just like my parents lolz Personally, I would hate any therapy that tells me what to think or to just change my behaviors, or record for insight. Whatever peeps it's the emotional workthrough that matters! blah
