I really wish I didn't have to fight what seems to be a natural sleep/wake cycle of something equivalent to a 2nd shift job. I do my best work in the evening, sleep better if I'm up until around midnight and let myself wake up naturally around 8:00 or 9:00. If I go to bed earlier than that, I just lay there and toss and turn, but with the kids needing me to be up with them about 6:00.......I need to force myself to bed earlier so I'm not quite so exhausted when 6:00 rolls around. It just doesn't work though. I went back to bed after taking my daughter to school on Tuesday and didn't get up until 10:30, and that was only because the phone rang.
