It seems there is so much concern about students being bullied, but what about teachers? We get it from every direction. I have had students spit on me, hit me, curse me, damage my car engine. I have had administrators threaten my job. I have had parents demand (and be backed up by administrators) that I change their child's grade. I am a good and caring teacher. I have taught for seven years, and have a hundred former students trying to organize a reunion. My evaluations are positive, yet many days, I dread getting out of bed. Students are allowed to be rude and hateful by their parents and administrators.
