By open sexuality, I wasn't just referring to myself, I was referring to myself and the wider community who live near where I do. On a number of occasions I have witnessed someone (or some people) shout mindless abuse at couples who are literally just walking down the street and who the "friend of a friend of a friend" knows about them has decided to give them grief.
Patrick is gay, however he has never shown out to anyone I know, and as such nobody knows.
And sorry about the raging post. I was just angry. It makes me really unhappy to see people being treated this way when all they want to do is live their lives as they see fit.
