I agree that not working can cause you to sleep excessively. I don't work right now and I tend to sleep 10-12 hrs per day, probably because I have no reason to get up. Although when I was working I remember having trouble getting to sleep and not feeling like I was rested in the morning. The problem can also be lack of exercise and nutrition. I smoke a lot and don't exercise or eat breakfast. All that can make a difference. WHen I was exercising regularly I could pop out of bed in the morning no problem.
