Angel,

I'm bipolar as well and I have to admit that I can tell when I'm getting manic - I also have a support system around me to tell me if I'm getting manic. Do you have such a group and if so have they noticed anything out of the ordinary?

Just wondering if you covered all your bases - that said, that pdoc is a total a**hole if all he can say in regards to your opinion is identify your disease as the cause. I highly doubt that an oncology patient's wish to switch doctors would be chalked up to "oh, that's just the cancer talking". When are docs gonna realize that we are so much more than our disease?

Grrrr!! Is there anyone else there you can talk to FIRST so that you have a bunch of people backing you? If you can get your T behind you, etc, then I'd say you shouldn't have much of a problem.

Dammit, now I am mad!

some of it's magic
some of it's tragic
but i had a good life all the way......
