NicoleB2, you said you are still on the ambien CR--is it working for you or not? If it is working, why does your pdoc want you to take a benzo instead? Usually pdocs prefer a patient with insomnia take a non-benzo hypnotic (like ambien) rather than a benzo such as klonopin or valium for insomnia. Do you think you are sleeping poorly because you are in pain from your accident? If so, is there anything else you can take besides vicodin? I hope the physical therapy helps with your pain. And I hope your pdoc returns soon so you can get some help with all that's going on. Hang in there and may the days pass swiftly.
