Nope..you did what was best for your babies, because you didn't want them to go through more pain. That's being a good mom.
About two years ago, my partner and I had to put my St Bernard Penny down, because she had severe hip dysplasia. Penny was only ten months old. When I think of her now, I smile, because I know that she is healthy, and she can run and play when she couldn't before. We have gotten more pups since then, and they each have their own little way about them. The new dogs have brought me through what would have been a really rough time, missing Penny. I hope that your new puppy is able to do that for you, too. (((((dublin)))))
