I feel comforted by your words because they make me feel like I am not alone.

I held my dog in my arms (he was 11 pounds) as his doctor was injecting the euthanaza medicine. It felt right that I should be holding him in my arms. I wanted him to know that his "mom" is always there for him no matter what.

My cat was in rough shape when I brought her to the vet. She couldnt control her bladder due to the diabetes...so I just sat beside the table and comforted her as she was euthanized. It broke my heart into a million pieces to know that I couldnt hold her in my arms.
