I'm not saying she would be offended. I think she would be touched. But I also believe it might cross ethical lines. And I don't want to face any kind of rejection of a gift like that. I think I'll stick to poetry. It has no value.
Silly? Well, maybe. But I do understand their dilemma in accepting gifts and how that might be problematic. I DID bring her a photo of a flower - does that count? a very small unframed photo
