Oh, I'm sorry you are having power issues and are cold in addition to being T-less! I was powerless for 3-4 days back the last hurricane and I hated that but at least I was a bit too warm, not cold (hate being cold). Sorry you can't even get comfort from us on the computer but have to save your battery in case it is some time before power comes back.

I'd make a list of places that might get power sooner or have backup generators, etc. and see if I couldn't figure out a way to go there for some part of each day. Do you have a college or anything near you? They'll probably have some buildings working, maybe the library; a library where you could take your computer and plug it in and be near a student union for hot cocoa or something in a snack bar would be ideal.
