My T tends to go to remote areas to camp and fish when on vacation, so contacting him has never been an option. I have other options -- my pdoc for instance. So, I doubt I would contact my T (but he has very good boundaries and wouldn't offer that service in the first place which I think is good). If for some strange reason he actually offered to accept calls while he was vacationing, I would ONLY call if it was a dire crisis. But again, I'd be more likely to contact my back-up in an emergency: my pdoc. It REALLY helps to have more than one professional to rely on.
